KDHX has published a press release announcing it has lost more than a third of its donors (among other accomplishments).
In the statement, executive director Kelly Wells gives credit to a “small group” for losing donors and volunteers, and creating a financial struggle.
She goes on to characterize detractors as “primarily white and male” and “mostly older, white people” which contrasts with the history of racism and racial sensitivity that Kelly Wells has been personally accused of by former volunteers and staff.
